Newcastle United's opening eight games - use our predictor to see just how they'll do

Newcastle United fans are worried about the future of their club, and the release of the 2019-20 fixtures have not helped ease their fears.

The opening eight games see United take on four of last season's top six in the opening eight weeks of the campaign.

The visit of Arsenal, before a trip to Spurs, Liverpool, and a home clash with Manchester United, paints a difficult start for the Magpies .

Throw in a newly-promoted Norwich City, FA Cup finalists Watford, a new manager at Brighton and an ambitious Leicester City - the run into October doesn't look pleasant.

That is heightened by the fact that Rafa Benitez may not be manager come the season's kick-off with his deal running out at the end of June, and no news on a new contract.

With several players having been released or sent back to their parent clubs, and some players pushing for a move, the need to get moving in the transfer market is clear to see.

All this will impact on the confidence going into the opening game.

We've created a predictor for you to see how NUFC will do.
