Newcastle United's new chairman and board once takeover is completed

Newcastle United are set to name a new chairman as part of their Middle East takeover.

This was supposed to be the scenario in summer 2020 before the Toon sale hit trouble.

However, with the takeover back on track for Saudi Arabia's PIF, Amanda Staveley, set to be named as director, and the Reuben brothers, the club structure is set for a major revamp.

After getting clarity on who would be the directors of new look United, the Premier League are set to push the button on the deal.

David Reuben is also set to be named as non-executive director.

But it remains to be seen who lands the role of CEO, the position which has been held by Lee Charnley since 2014.

Head coach Steve Bruce took training at Benton today as players learned via the media that the takeover was back on.
