Newcastle United's FA Cup clash with West Brom will now be televised - here's how to watch

The BBC has now confirmed Newcastle United's FA Cup fifth-round tie at West Brom will now be televised.

The Magpies were originally overlooked by broadcasters BBC and BT Sport as one of the four televised picks.

Portsmouth's tie against Arsenal and Manchester United's visit to Derby County were selected for coverage by BT Sport on Monday and Thursday respectively.

The BBC initially opted to show the highlight tie of the round when Chelsea host runaway Premier League leaders Liverpool on Tuesday night, as well as Manchester City's trip to Sheffield Wednesday the following night.

However, the BBC has now confirmed the Magpies' visit to the Hawthorns will also be shown live.

Fans will be able to watch the Tuesday night contest via the red button, and it will also be streamed on BBC iPlayer as well as the BBC Sport website and app.

Kick-off is at 8pm, and all of the ties will have to be decided on the night. If the scores are level at 90 minutes, extra time and penalties will determine who progresses to the sixth round.
