Newcastle United's away strip 'leaked' and fans are far from happy

Newcastle United fans have been left far from happy with the apparent leak of next season's new away jersey.

Various social media accounts have posted what they say is the 2020-21 away shirt - and it's fair to say many Toon supporters are not happy with what they have seen.

The shirt, which is pictured above, is a mixture of different blues, with white lines and dots also included in what appears a very mixed-matched design.

The Toon badge is printed on - many fans would prefer it to be embroidered.

Castore are expected to take over the manufacturing of United's shirts and training gear - having just announced a deal with fellow Premier League side Wolves.

Newcastle's deal with Puma has come to an end, and the club shop has closed down for an expected revamp in line with Castore taking over.

There's nothing to confirm that this picture is indeed the away jersey for next season but judging on the comments from fans, if it is, the designer may want to get back in front of his screen.

The post appeared to have originated from a supporter on Twitter - Karen - who was pictured wearing the shirt back on April 17th.

What is your reaction to this leak?
