Newcastle United reveal season ticket prices ahead of Premier League fixtures release

Newcastle United have revealed their season ticket prices for the new season ahead of the Premier League fixtures being released on Thursday.

The Magpies have confirmed that the price of season tickets for supporters who are not on long-term price freeze deals has increased. On average, this increase works out at around 5% across the board compared to last season.

An adult ticket will now cost: £417 in the family area, £600 in seating category three, £659 in seating category two and £811 in seating category one.

Students and senior citizens will now pay £340 in the family area, £480 in seating category three, £536 in seating category two and £667 in seating category one.

Finally, the cost of tickets for under-18s will be: £86 in the family area, £174 in seating category three, £217 in seating category two and £327 in seating category one.

With just 18 days to go on Rafa Benitez's contract, it is not yet clear who will be in the dugout come the first game of the season in August or, indeed, who will own the Magpies.

Takeover speculation continues on Tyneside amid interest from Sheikh Khaled and the Bin Zayed Group, but Mike Ashley is yet to receive a formal bid.

Newcastle will find out who they will be playing on the opening day of the 2019/20 season tomorrow.
