Newcastle United Q&A - Lee Ryder answers your questions on the latest from St James' Park

Newcastle United now know the players they will have to rely on to get them through to the January transfer window.

The Magpies have had a mixed start to the season, beating West Ham and Burnley, but losing heavily to Brighton and Manchester United at St James' Park.

While the game at Spurs was backs-to-the-wall, they came away with a point, meaning Steve Bruce's side sit in mid-table with a match at Wolves on Sunday.

With the transfer window now closed, Newcastle confirmed their 25-man Premier League squad this week, with the likes of Paul Dummett, Ciaran Clark and Matty Longstaff close to a return to action after long-term injuries.

And of course there is always the presence of takeover talk lingering on in the background, after this summer's failed attempt to buy the club by the consortium led by Amanda Staveley and backed by Saudi Araba's Public Investment Fund.

It all means that, as usual, there are plenty of issues to be discussed in the world of Newcastle United.

Chief Football Writer Lee Ryder will be on hand to answer your questions today from around 1pm.

All you have to do is ask some questions in the chatbox above, and Lee will try to answer as many as he can.
