Newcastle United’s squad held a post-game inquest on their flight back from Norwich - with every player told to take a long hard look at themselves after their 3-1 defeat against the Canaries.
United players have been told to cancel their day off on Sunday and report for training at Benton.
After the game Bruce said: “The answers lie within. We will look at things. We know we can do better.
“We were nowhere near good enough and it was a disappointing afternoon with and without the ball.”
Meanwhile Paul Dummett has also hit out after the loss. He said: “Every one of us has got to look in the mirror and know it’s not good enough.”
