Newcastle United owners share triumphant post-match selfie after Crystal Palace win

Newcastle United's owners shared a post-match victory selfie after the 1-0 win against Crystal Palace. Jamie Reuben, Mehrdad Ghodoussi and PIF Chairman Yasir Al-Rumayyan posed for the camera in the aftermath of another Premier League win.

The latter was attending his third game at St James' Park since the £300million Saudi-backed takeover was completed - and he was treated to a first Newcastle win. Miguel Almiron's 32nd-minute strike proved the difference between the two sides to move the Magpies up to 11th in the Premier League.

Not since the 2003/04 season have Newcastle recorded six straight top-flight victories - as Eddie Howe continues to dispel the critics who questioned his appointment in November. Mathematical safety can be secured this weekend should Burnley fail to beat Southampton or Wolves and Newcastle earn another win at rock-bottom Norwich.

The Crystal Palace win ensured Howe's battlers reached the illustrious 40-point mark. After the game, the co-owners posted their own team photo on social media.
