Newcastle United officially unveil 2020/21 Puma away and third kits with nod to Tyne Bridge

Newcastle United have unveiled their striking new away and third kits with Puma ahead of the start of the 2020/21 campaign next month.

The Magpies will be wearing a 'fizzy yellow' shirt complete with dark 'peacoat' blue stripes across the shoulders on the road this season.

Newcastle's third kit, meanwhile, has a 'prism violet' design and features a bold pattern work based on the steelwork of the Tyne Bridge.

The new kits are now available to pre-order at nufcdirect.com and will be available in shops a week later.

Talk now turns towards the new signings who could be wearing the kits when the 2020/21 season gets under way on September 12.

Like most clubs, the Magpies' plans for the summer window have been affected by coronavirus and Steve Bruce has a smaller budget to work with.

The Newcastle head coach has, naturally, vowed to only bring in honest, hard-working players who would improve his side - Premier League experience would be a huge plus - and has been studying the Bosman market for several months as well as exploring possible loan options.

Bruce hopes to address a number of areas in his squad, particularly up front, and while the first team are due to return to pre-season training later this month, the transfer window does not close until October 5.

Chelsea and Man City aside, it has perhaps been telling that the first two weeks of the window have been fairly quiet as clubs take stock of the situation.
