Chris Wood has shrugged off any question marks over his price tag and the buyout clause that irked Burnley ahead of his move to Newcastle United.
Wood has arrived for £25million after Newcastle activated the clause in his deal with the Clarets and is contracted until 2024.
The move was questioned by some observers, most notably, Gary Lineker who used an exploding head emoji on Twitter to mark Wood's big career move.

Wood, speaking at his first Press conference, said: "I don't actually know the wording or anything like that.
"I knew it had been sitting in there from the deal we agreed on a new deal two-and-a-half years ago but my agents know more about that and that side of it.
"I just get on playing football. For me, there was no bad blood at all.
"It was a case of this was a massive opportunity and a massive club and something I couldn't turn down."
Indeed, Wood suggested he'd become a little stale at Burnley after just three goals to his name this term.
He went on: "Nothing great ever comes from staying in your comfort zone - this move could be great for me and great for the club."
"You've got to go with what your gut says. I'd been at Burnley for four and a half years, was very comfortable, very settled there, nothing great ever happens in your comfort zone."

Wood is also looking forward to working with Eddie Howe and is delighted that Newcastle pushed so hard to secure his services.
He went on: "The club and the manager pushed so hard to get me, I felt wanted like my presence here was needed.
"Eddie Howe has got great ideas that he's trying to implement into his squad.
"I've been on the training pitch today and can see it's already flowing."
