Newcastle United linked Jarrod Bowen on what might happen in the January transfer window

Hull City star Jarrod Bowen has suggested that he would be open to leaving the Championship club amidst links to Newcastle United.

The 22-year-old's contract is up in the summer, and he is someone that United have held a strong interest in over the last 12 months.

The forward picked up his fifth goal of the season over the weekend, and when asked about his future and a potential January exit, suggested that he'd be open to either outcome.

“If I leave, I leave, if I don’t, I am loving it here,” Bowen told the Hull Daily Mail.

“What will be, will be.

"I have just got to keep my head down, I have got agents that take care of all of that.

“I am playing football so I am not surprised that I didn’t leave.

"It is out of my hands what happens off the pitch, I have just got to (perform) on the pitch."

Bowen's age, contract situation and clear ability makes him an attractive option for United , and there could be a bargain to be had if Hull decide to cash in on their star man.
