Newcastle United have been handed a date for their huge FA Cup clash with Manchester City.
The quarter-final tie with last season's treble winners will kick off on Saturday March 21 at 7pm and will be broadcast by BBC One.
United are hoping for a complete sell out for their first last eight tie since 2006 with Steve Bruce's men classed as major underdogs for the game.
However, their cup fate will decided in front of a live national terrestrial audience beneath the lights.
Bruce has already spoken about the tie in-depth and told the Chronicle: "I understood and knew from the moment I walked through the door how important it was for them to have a cup run or be involved in one.
"How good was it to reach the last eight?
"We could not have pulled out tougher opposition but how great is it to be in the quarter-final?
"I am sure it will be pretty special and full to the rafters.
"We could not have wished for more difficult opponents, we're up against one of the best teams in Europe.
"But it's the FA Cup and that is the beauty of it. We will try our best and see if we can get through to a semi-final at Wembley."
United's last two ties against Oxford and West Bromwich Albion were played in front of the BBC cameras and both resulted in 3-2 victories.
