Newcastle United fans have been left less than impressed after England manager Gareth Southgate did not include Callum Wilson and Karl Darlow in his latest England squad.
The Three Lions face three fixtures during the November international break, tackling Ireland in a friendly before their UEFA Nations League clashes against Belgium and Iceland.
England's form in the Nations League has been less than convincing, with a victory against Belgium last month swiftly followed by a defeat to Denmark.
Those inconsistencies are an issue ahead of next summer's European Championships but it hasn't led to opportunities for new players.
Instead, the England squad is largely made up of the same names that you would usually expect, with Manchester City's Phil Foden among those earning a recall.
The issue for Newcastle fans though comes in attack, where Wilson has been overlooked, and in goal, where Darlow has been unable to get his opportunity.
It may have seemed like Wilson's chances were strong after Southampton striker Danny Ings was ruled out through injury but instead it is Tammy Abraham, who has scored just once this season, who gets the nod.
Between the sticks, Southgate has kept faith in Everton stopper Jordan Pickford despite his woeful form and Manchester United's Dean Henderson, yet to appear in the Premier League this season, also makes the cut.
Newcastle fans were far from happy with the selection and many took to social media to express their fury at the decisions.
