Newcastle's club record signing had made a slow start to life in the Premier League after arriving from Hoffenheim ahead of the 2019/20 season but he has been quick to make his mark in the capital this afternoon.
The Magpies arrived in London on the back of defeats against Arsenal and Norwich City but took a 1-0 lead into the break at Spurs.
Joelinton was the man who provided the first-half goal as he did well to tuck home a neat left-footed finish to open the scoring.
