Newcastle United fans react to what Ryan Fraser has said about Eddie Howe

Newcastle United winger Ryan Fraser has hailed the changes made by Eddie Howe during his brief tenure in charge of the club so far.

Howe was appointed as the Magpies ’ new boss earlier this month, replacing the outgoing Steve Bruce, who lasted just one match under the new ownership.

The former Bournemouth boss has already begun to implement his stamp on the squad since his arrival, which has been particularly apparent in training videos released by the club.

While Newcastle are still searching for their first win of the season, Fraser, who worked with Howe at the Cherries, has opened up on the feel good factor that surrounds the training field at the moment.

He said: “The place is a lot happier; I don’t want to say anything about the previous staff, it’s disrespectful, I think everyone is seeing changes. No days off with this gaffer. He’s got us planning, out on the pitch again the day after Arsenal.”

However, while Fraser has discussed the positive feeling around the club, his comments have received a mixed response on Facebook from some of the club’s supporters.

Graeme Smith : “This guy needs to start showing something to warrant him being brought here.”

Kev Diamond: “Looks and sounds great .. but let’s get some points on the table lads.”

Alan Smith: “He's never really had a good run in the team to show what he can do.”

Nick Marsden: “Good. Eddie Howe is a breath of fresh air.”

Su Cozie Ruggles: “Eddie will get the best out of him.”
