Newcastle United fans make transfer demand as Nottingham Forest told to complete this signing

Newcastle fans make transfer demand

Newcastle United fans want their side to let Jack Colback go - a verdict Nottingham Forest and their fans will be interested in.

Colback is back with the Magpies after a season-and-a-half on loan at the City Ground.

The former Sunderland man didn't make a permanent move to Forest after his last loan stint expired last summer and he has been training with Newcastle but hasn't played a minute of 2019-20.

Colback, it was revealed, moved his family to Nottingham after joining Forest but commutes daily to Newcastle despite being nowhere near the first-team picture.

Forest fans want Lamouchi to sign this player

Forest fans are keen to see Sabri Lamouchi tie down one of his three loan stars when this summer's transfer window eventually opens.

Forest currently have a trio of stars at the club on a permanent basis.

Aro Muric is with the club from Manchester City while John Bostock and Alfa Semedo are from Toulouse and Benfica.

But of all three talented loanees, it is Bostock who fans most want to see pen a permanent deal on Trentside, according to a Nottingham Post survey.

There were still ten games left to play at the time the decision was made and Tolouse's president, Olivier Sadran, has written to the LFP to criticise the decision to relegate his side.

EFL chairman's promotion warning

Coventry City CEO Dave Boddy believes it’s increasingly unlikely that the EFL season will be finished, putting Forest's promotion dreams in doubt.

The campaign has been postponed after the outbreak of coronavirus with no sign of a return for football below the Premier League.

The big challenges currently facing football clubs are financial with lower league sides completely starved of their main income source, and they could soon also be asked to fork out tens of thousands of pounds on testing kits should the FA demand football's return.

However, the safety of the players remains the main priority and is currently something that cannot be protected in English football's lower leagues, the Coventry man explained.
