Newcastle United fans have welcomed the news that the club are reportedly aiming to seal a deal for Chris Wood.
The Burnley striker has been the subject of an 'approach' from the Magpies according to the Daily Telegraph, with the report claiming the New Zealand international would be keen on the move.
Wood has just netted three times in 21 appearances so far this season, but has previously reached double figures in his last four Premier League seasons.
