Joelinton has finally scored his first goal at St James' Park and it has led to reaction aplenty from Newcastle United fans.
The 23-year-old signed for the Magpies last summer from 1899 Hoffenheim and was expected to hit the ground running.
Whilst he scored the only goal in an impressive 1-0 win at Tottenham earlier this term, the Brazilian has struggled to find his feet on Tyneside.
However, a third round FA Cup replay tie at home to Rochdale on Tuesday night was a great opportunity to build some confidence and Newcastle fans are now hoping that turns out to be the case.
Steve Bruce's men won the clash 4-1 thanks to an own goal from Rochdale's Eoghan O'Connell and strikes from Matty Longstaff, Miguel Almiron and Joelinton , while Jordan Williams scored a consolation goal for the visitors.
