Your Newcastle United evening headlines for Saturday, December 11:
Howe message to Newcastle's fringe players
Eddie Howe issued a message to a clutch of players who are struggling for first-team football at Newcastle United - including Dwight Gayle, Isaac Hayden, Sean Longstaff and Jeff Hendrick.
All four have been unable to force their way into Howe's staring line-up and could face another stint of bench-warming at Leicester City's King Power Stadium tomorrow.
When asked specifically about the likes of Gayle and Hayden, Howe said: "Everyone is important, whether you are in the starting eleven or on the bench or just out of the squad, everyone has a huge part to play.
"As you know from experience, football can change very quickly.
"I am in the position where I've got a lot of bodies in front of me.
"Suddenly you can be in the team and at the forefront of the team fighting for the club but to do that you need to be mentally prepared."

Gary Neville makes relegation prediction
Sky Sports pundit Gary Neville says Newcastle United have 'no reason to panic' despite their precarious position in the Premier League table.
The Magpies sit 19th in the division, but got their first win of the season against Burnley, and with new boss Eddie Howe in charge there is a buoyancy about the club.
Speaking on Sky Sports, Neville said: “I do think those bottom four teams, they’re the ones that you’re going to be looking at. At the end of the day, Eddie’s got experience of being down there before.
"He looks really calm and relaxed, he won’t panic and he knows there’s a long, long way to go. Even with ten games to go, five games to go, we’ve seen teams put miraculous runs together and come out of it.
"At this moment in time there’s no reason to panic, even though looking at that table it can be a little bit depressing for those teams at the bottom."

Hamann says Bundesliga player 'could help' Toon
Former Newcastle United midfielder Dietmar Hamann says Florian Grillitsch would be a fine addition for the Magpies.
As per the Sun, the Magpies are keen to land the 26-year-old who currently plays for Hoffenheim.
Speaking to Tribal Football, former Germany international Hamann said: "The only question marks over him would be if he could cope with the physicality of the Premier League.
"It is a different game and it’s something that he still needs to work on, but he’s a brilliant player.
"Technically he’s very gifted. If he played in the right system, he could definitely help Newcastle."
