Bruce reacts to protest
Steve Bruce is "disappointed" after a group of Newcastle supporters protested outside St. James' Park on Saturday night due to the club's poor run of form.
The Magpies are now without a win in 10 games after a 2-0 defeat to Aston Villa in the Premier League on Saturday evening.
Supporters group Wor Flags were outside the stadium with a banner aimed at owner Mike Ashley, reading: "Act Late. Seal Your Fate."
Bruce was informed of what went on and said: "Well, I'm disappointed to hear that."
Newcastle slipped to 16th place following the defeat at Villa Park as their poor form continued.

Jones eyes Newcastle job
Graeme Jones has told Bournemouth that he wants to take up his dream job at Newcastle.
The Geordie first-team coach has only been at the Cherries since the start of the season after Eddie Howe left the south coast club following their relegation to the Championship.
If Jones was to join Bruce's backroom team, then the dynamics behind the scenes would need clarifying, with Steve Agnew, Stephan Clemence, Steve Harper and Ben Dawson already coaches at St. James' Park.
Bruce refused to comment on Jones potentially coming in, when asked about it on Saturday evening.
The Cherries coach, who works under manager Jason Tindall, was born in Gateshead and started his senior football career at North Shields in 1991, before making his way up the ladder.

Benitez set for UK return
According to the Mirror, former Newcastle boss Rafa Benitez is set to become the new manager of Celtic after leaving his post at Chinese side Dalian Pro.
The report claims that Benitez is now "in the frame" to take over at Celtic Park with Neil Lennon under huge pressure.
If the Spaniard does take over at the Scottish giants, then it would set up an intriguing battle with Rangers boss Steven Gerrard, who Benitez managed at Liverpool.

After leaving the Chinese Premier League club on Saturday, Benitez said: "Unfortunately, like so many things that happened last year, the Covid-19 virus has changed our lives and our plans. Regrettably, starting from today, my coaching staff and I will not continue to coach at Dalian People's Professional Football Club.
"It was a wonderful experience, for which I would like to thank all the team leaders, coaches, medical staff and club staff as well as our players. Thank them for putting their commitments first, and for their support during our tenure and their extremely hard work.
"For all of us, the epidemic is still going on."
