Ritchie spat latest
Newcastle chiefs now consider the training ground row between Steve Bruce and Matt Ritchie to be resolved after talks behind the scenes.
Chronicle Live understands that Ritchie apologised to his team-mates and staff and after discussions over the last 24 hours, the situation has now been sorted ahead of this weekend's trip to West Bromwich Albion.
The Magpies midfielder was angered by Bruce's post-game comments last weekend and this led to a blazing row in training.
Newcastle have refused to comment on details of the spat but sources say the club are hoping they can put the incident behind them now.

Clark wants Magpies to sign Celtic star
Former Newcastle midfielder Lee Clark believes his old club would be getting a 'top player' if they signed Celtic star Kris Ajer.
Ajer was signed by Clark on loan during his time as Kilmarnock boss and he has explained how good the AC Milan-linked defender.
The ex-Magpies man is hoping he'll extend his deal at Celtic Park, but if he was to move, then he wants it to be to St. James' Park.
The former Newcastle midfielder told the Daily Record: “Kris is an outstanding player and I really feel for the Old Firm because it’s tough for them to compete with smaller clubs in bigger leagues.
“They have such a worldwide fan base and when I managed up there it really hit home how big the two clubs are but they can’t compete financially with the giants in Europe.
“I just hope they can get to the level where they can be competitive in the Champions League and keep a hold of the likes of Kris Ajer.
“Well, maybe not in Kris’s case specifically because he’s been linked with Newcastle United in some north east media outlets!
“So with my Newcastle United fans head on I hope that happens! My mates have all been asking me about him since he was mentioned and I told them if it comes off we’ll be getting a real top player.
“But I’m not sure we’re in the market for a player of his value with the money that would be involved to land a player of his ability."

Almiron recovery time-frame
Reports coming out of Paraguay suggest that Newcastle attacker Miguel Almiron could be back within four weeks.
A club statement confirmed that Allan Saint-Maximin and Almiron will be sidelined until at least April.
Now, reports coming out of Almiron's homeland are suggesting a more specific timescale for his recovery from injury.
The national team's doctor Osvaldo Insfrán, is quoted as saying: "Miguel Almirón has a right knee injury and it would be 4 weeks to recover.
"I still haven't seen the MRI, but I spoke with him and he is pain-free, running on the treadmill."
If that proves to be true, Almiron will be fit to return for the visit of Tottenham at the start of April.
