Newcastle United coach Jason Tindall says that Eddie Howe will not be carried away by the Magpies' rise up to the Champions League.
United have gone from relegation battlers to playing at Europe's top table next season in the space of a season. But Tindall, his trusted lieutenant, believes Howe's calm outlook has never changed since the days they battled against relegation in League Two with AFC Bournemouth.
Tindall said: "Ed is the same, he's the same as what he's been like from the beginning. "When you think about it you grow and you get better and learn from experiences you have over the course of a managerial career.

"He works extremely hard and his attention to detail is fantastic. He is a great leader, not just of the team, of the football club.
"It (Champions League) is certainly no more than he deserves. The journey we've had has been incredible from where we started to where we are now. He's still the same person though."
Newcastle must now start getting used to their Champions League tag ahead of the 2023/24 campaign. As things stand they could yet be pitched with Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich or Borussia Dortmund.
Tindall said: "It does feel strange. I've said it before, if you had said at the start of the season we'd be in the Champions League next season.
"The start of a journey or even the start of last season, nobody would have believed you. On top of last season's achievement (11th), to get into the Champions League with so many great teams in the Premier League is a fantastic achievement.
"It is no more than this city deserves. The fans have been incredible and helped us a great deal a long the way, by creating great atmospheres. Eddie and the coaching the staff, the players are all grateful for that, we are on a fantastic journey and long may it continue."
