
Newcastle's Poppy Starr Olsen has progressed to the inaugural women's park final as skateboarding debuts at the Olympics in Tokyo.
The 21-year-old was ranked sixth overall after the preliminary rounds at Ariake Sports Park on Wednesday.

Olsen's first run proved best in the last of four heats, scoring 44.03.
Her following two runs, all timed at 45 seconds, were 38.04 and 34.37.
The decider is scheduled to get underway at 1:30pm (AEST).
Host nation Japan had three of the top four qualifiers, including leader Misugu Okamoto (58.51).
