Newcastle's Tyne Brewery to host a Yoga & Beer afternoon and it sounds randomly amazing

Get ready for something completely different as Tyne Bank Brewery, Newcastle will host a session comprised of doing yoga and drinking beer laster this month.

The brewery on Walker Road have teamed up with registered yoga teacher Emily Harkness to offer people a yoga session accompanied by the occasional sip on a beverage of your choosing on Sunday, October 27.

Emily envisions this event as being "a fun and friendly place for yogis, new and old, to have a laugh and meet like-minded people."

The one-hour yoga flow class will get you stretching, breathing deeply, firing up your core, and moving through classic yoga postures with a twist.

Those wanting to get involved in the event don’t have to be a yoga expert and don’t even have to like beer, so it’s suitable for anyone looking to have a bit of fun and socialise with others.

The brewery will remain open to the public for the duration of the session so although the event starts at 1pm, there is plenty of time to have a drink and get to know other yoga or beer lovers before and after the class.

Tickets for yoga and beer cost £12.50 with the only requirements for attendees being that you are aged 18 or more and to bring a yoga mat with you if you have one.

To buy tickets see here  and the brewery website has more information on the event.
