Newcastle's Stanley Nsoki move does not appear to be as imminent as initial French reports suggested

Newcastle United target Stanley Nsoki may not be joining Newcastle as imminently as reports in France have suggested.

Get French Football News  reported yesterday that Newcastle have agreed a fee to sign the PSG defender but the Magpies and the player remain far apart on personal terms.

Head coach Steve Bruce is known to be in the market for a new full-back this summer and RMC report that the deal the two sides struck was €11m plus a 20% sell-on percentage fee clause.

However, the 20-year-old has been named in PSG's squad for tomorrow's friendly against Sydney FC in the International Super Cup.

The France under-21 international remains a part of manager Thomas Tuchel's  short term thinking and unless there is a development over the next 24 hours he is set to feature at the Suzhou Olympic Sports Center in Jiangsu, China.

Nsoki still has two years left on his deal with PSG and the French giants are not under pressure to sell. Lazio, Fiorentina and St Etienne are also said to be interested in the France under-21 international.
