While much remains up in the air during the coronavirus crisis, Poppy Starr Olsen has kept her focus on making next year's Olympics.
The Junction skateboarder was well placed to represent Australia at the Games before the COVID-19 pandemic hit and organisers postponed the international event for 12 months until 2021.
Despite the change in dates, announced during March, Olsen feels like her Tokyo goal is still the same.
"That's still the goal for me," the 19-year-old told the Newcastle Herald.
"I'm not sure what training will look like or what comeptitions there will be, but hopefully we will be back out there soon."

This week the NSW government announced the easing of some public health restrictions, including the use of outdoor equipment now closed for activities.
Newcastle City Council confirmed on Thursday that Bar Beach skate park would be one of those facilities reopened from May 15.
Olsen, who in the meantime has utilised National Park netball courts and a home-made ramp, can't wait to ride her local bowl once more.
"It's going to be really cool skating something big again," the former Newcastle High School student said.
"It feels like forever since I've skated. I'm looking forward to it."
According to the world skateboarding rankings, for female park riders starting from January 1 last year, Olsen was the best-placed Australian and fourth overall.
It is undecided if these points will carryover and count towards Olympic selections for next year.
"I was sitting in a nice spot," the first-year, University of Newcastle animation student said.
"I'm not sure if they will keep going with the old scores or start again. We'll just wait and see."
