Veretout endured a forgettable spell at Aston Villa after signing in 2015, but has since gone on to establish himself as a key player under Jose Mourinho in the Italian capital.
The 28-year-old is contracted with the Serie A outfit until the summer of 2024, and is listed with a value of £27m on transfermarkt.
Larin talks
Reports from Turkish daily newspaper Takvim via Inside Futbol claim Newcastle club officials are due to hold talks over a potential deal for Besiktas winger Cyle Larin.

The Canadian international is out of contract in the summer, and a cut-price deal could be struck to ensure the Turkish giants receive a fee for the attacker.
