We're still five weeks away from Christmas but there is already a very strong contender for the decoration crown this year in the shape of a popular Newcastle restaurant.
While Branches Jesmond is well known for its food offerings, including its much buzzed about Sunday lunches, the Osborne Road haunt is getting everyone talking for another reason - the absolutely amazing lights it has covering its exterior.
Many people have spotted the twinkling festive display over the past 24 hours and uploaded pictures to social media and revealing all themselves, Branches posted a picture on Facebook, writing "MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM US ALL AT BRANCHES."
Many people were quick to comment, include a number of people who can't have failed to have noticed all the lights on their way home from work on Thursday. One posted "Saw your restaurant earlier and thought it looked amazing!"
Amazing was the word used by many to praise Branches for their display, with someone else reacting "Wow looks amazing!" and another posting "how amazing does this look?!"
Other words to describe Branches' glittering exterior decor have so far included fabulous, beautiful and gorgeous and we have to agree!
