A Newcastle recruitment firm is creating 50 jobs in the city and adding a new bar and indoor garden to its head office.
Samuel Knight International is looking to fill the roles over the next 12 months and has taken out more space at its offices at the City Quadrant, in Newcastle city centre, to make room for its new team members.
The new office space will include a bar, an indoor garden and a new mezzanine for its staff to enjoy.
The business has already started its recruitment drive by hiring Sophie Goymer as its new talent acquisition manager. Ms Goymer will be tasked with hiring the 50 new staff members.
Commenting on her new role, Ms Goymer said: “The company really focuses on employee happiness and offers fantastic development plans, which is why I’m excited to bring more hard-working people onboard.
“We’ll be approaching hiring in a different way from other recruiters, and opening our doors to individuals from all backgrounds, regardless of work history. Samuel Knight International focuses on finding staff to work in the rail and energy sector. It recruits staff to work around the world and has a growing presence in the US.
