It's whizzed by at lightning speed but tonight it is time to say so long, farewell to 2019 and a Newcastle pub is seeing out the year in style with an outdoor rave!
The New Year's Eve forecast for Newcastle suggests it might be slightly on the chilly side this evening but that's never stopped The Old George before, with the Cloth Market pub hosting outdoor parties every weekend for months now.
And the runner up for Best Pub at this year's Newcastle Loves Awards will be serving up more of the same tonight when it hosts Rave in the Courtyard.
The event , hosted by DJ Drama, will run from 8pm all the way until 2am and will feature loads of 90s classics and of course a big midnight countdown.
As ever with parties at The Old George, entry is free and the outdoor partying with continue on New Year's Day for those who aren't too hungover or in need of hair of the dog with DJ Dean Paul Walton on the decks, spinning indie classics before and after the Newcastle United match.
