Newcastle Pride security and entry rules for Town Moor events on Saturday and Sunday

After three years of having celebrations put on hold, the Pride party is coming to Newcastle in a big way this weekend as the city finally has the honour of flying fur flag for the whole country by hosting UK Pride.

It was in those pre Covid days of 2018 when it was announced that Tyneside had been selected for the national accolade, after a successful bid from the hard working team at Northern Pride.

And, following a long wait to stage an event for the city and the rest of the UK to be proud of, it’s time for Newcastle to show just why it is regarded as one of the best places to party.

Todrick Hall got things off to a fine start with Friday’s Launch Party and Newcastle Pride acts this year include Spice Girl icon Melanie C, who will headlining with a DJ set on Saturday night and Louise, who is sure to deliver with the likes of 2 Faced, Arms Around the World and Naked on Sunday evening.
