Former Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is priced at 10/1 by the bookies to become the next boss at Newcastle United.
The Magpies are searching for a new manager after confirming that current boss Rafa Benitez will leave the club when his contract expires on June 30.
The former Liverpool manager has failed to agree a new contract with the Magpies and will leave in six days time, having helped the North East club to a mid-table finish in last season's Premier League.
A statement from Newcastle read: "It is with disappointment that we announce manager Rafael Benitez will leave Newcastle United upon the expiry of his contract on 30th June 2019.
"We have worked hard to extend Rafa’s contract over a significant period of time, however it has not been - and will not be - possible to reach an agreement with Rafa and his representatives."

Following on from the news, Mourinho is second-joint favourite for the role.
Bookmaker Ladbrokes have Chris Hughton as the favourite priced at 7/1, while Mourinho and Gary Monk are both 10/1 for the vacancy.

Another former United boss, David Moyes, is priced at 25/1, as is former Reds star and current England women's coach Phil Neville.
Mourinho was sacked by United back in December and recently hinted at a return to management, although he spoke about taking over the reins of a national side.
