The first ever Newcastle Loves awards are taking place in May and now the venues on the shortlist need your vote.
Chronicle Live launched the Newcastle Loves campaign to celebrate the places we like to eat, drink and play in our fabulous city.
After 4,100 nominations from readers we now know the identity of the finalists in 10 different categories. The winners will be revealed in an action packed awards bash at Quayside club and live music venue Riverside on Wednesday, May 1.
The evening will be hosted by Hannah Gray and performances on the night will come from Jennison, Jamie Lee Harrison, Abi Garrido and Ami Vazari as Ariana Live.
But before all of those acts take to the stage, the winners need to be decided. And you have until April 14 to vote for your favourite in each category.
For this article, the focus is on Best Pub. Geordies are famous for their love of a drink or two and Newcastle is blessed with plenty of places to do exactly that.
