The reaction to the first ever Newcastle Loves awards has been huge so far, but time is now running out to vote for your winners.
On Wednesday, May 1, Chronicle Live will take over Quayside haunt Riverside for the inaugural awards bash, but before then the finalists in all 10 categories are relying on your support.
The Newcastle Loves campaign was launched to celebrate the best places to eat, drink and socialise in the city.
We left the nominations in your hands and we received over 4,100 of them, from which we have compiled our shortlists.
There are 10 categories and the winners and runners up in each will be revealed at the awards next month, which will be hosted by Hannah Gray and feature performances from Jennison, Abi Garrido, Jamie Lee Harrison and Ami Vaziri as Ariana Live.
For the purposes of this article, we're turning our attention to Best Live Music venue.
Whatever your preferred genre, whether you're into your pop, rock, indie or dance, Newcastle is blessed with an array of places to get a slice of the live music action.
