Newcastle Loves awards Best Cocktail Bar finalists - vote for your favourite

It's nearly time raise a glass and toast the winners of the first ever Newcastle Loves awards.

At the start of May, Chronicle Live will host the inaugural awards bash which will celebrate the best places to eat, drink and socialise in our fabulous city.

The Newcastle Loves campaign was launched to celebrate the best places to eat, drink and socialise in the city.

We left the nominations in your hands and we received over 4,100 of them, from which we have compiled our shortlists.

There are 10 categories and the winners and runners up in each will be revealed at the awards next month, which will be hosted by Hannah Gray and feature performances from Jennison, Abi Garrido, Jamie Lee Harrison and Ami Vaziri as Ariana Live.

For the purposes of this article, we're turning our attention to Best Cocktail Bar and let's be honest, there are plenty to choose from in the city that never sleeps.
