The Newcastle Loves Awards are just a month away now but there is still time to make your vote count.
After 4,100 nominations we now have compiled shortlists for each of the 10 categories for the awards bash which will be held at Quayside haunt Riverside on Wednesday, May 1.
The Newcastle Loves campaign was launched to celebrate the best places in Newcastle to eat, drink and socialise and the reaction to the awards so far has been brilliant.
the winners and runners up in each will be revealed at the awards, which will be hosted by Hannah Gray and feature performances from Jennison, Abi Garrido, Jamie Lee Harrison and Ami Vaziri as Ariana Live.

For the purposes of this article, we're turning our attention to Best Casual Dining.
Newcastle is blessed with absolutely loads of dining hotspots, whether it be a chain restaurant or a local independent eatery.
