At the start of May, Chronicle Live will host the first ever Newcastle Loves awards and we now know the identity of the finalists.
The Newcastle Loves awards were launched to celebrate the places we love to eat, drink and socialise in in our wonderful city.
A lot of you have had your say on who you want on the shortlist, with 4,100 votes coming in and now the final five in each category need your votes for them to win.
The winners will be revealed at a fun, informal awards bash at Riverside on the Quayside on Wednesday, May 1. Hosted by Hannah Gray, the night will also feature performances from Jennison, Jamie Lee Harrison, Abi Garrido and Ami Vaziri as Ariana Live.
The Newcastle Loves awards finalists revealed - vote for your favourites from the shortlist were announced on Thursday, March 28 and for the purposes of this story, we're focusing on the finalists for the Best Bar accolade.
