Newcastle lifted, Man United misery - Predict Premier League results until Christmas

Newcastle United are still searching for their first three points of the season with almost a quarter of the campaign played.

It has been a disappointing start to the season for Steve Bruce's side, who currently sit in 19th having failed to win any of their first seven Premier League matches.

They began the season with a 4-2 defeat against West Ham United, before the Magpies were beaten at Aston Villa and Manchester United.

The Toon were able to respond with a point against Leeds United and Watford - two games that could have went either way.

Nonetheless, a defeat at Wolves last weekend piled more misery on the Magpies who are in danger of being cut adrift early on.

The international break will give Bruce a chance to try and address some of Newcastle's failings ahead of hosting Tottenham Hotspur at St. James Park.

The Magpies will then face a trip to Selhurst Park to face last season's fellow strugglers Crystal Palace and with pressure mounting surrounding Bruce's future, his tenure could depend on how well they get on in south London.

Norwich City remain stranded at the bottom of the Premier League, with Newcastle and Burnley just above them.

But how will the Premier League table look just before the international break, when each team would've played seven matches each?

You can use our prediction widget above to plot Newcastle's course over the next three weeks, as they head into an important stage of the campaign.
