Newcastle United and Castore have finally launched their new kit after months of speculation, rumour, leaks and anticipation. This is the beginning of a 'multi-year' partnership between the club and Castore who have publicly declared their ambition to become the world's leading global sportswear brand by 2026.
Andy Murray, Rangers, Formula One team McClaren and recently Wolves represent the blue riband teams in Castore's stable. But when they finally announced their partnership with Newcastle, co-founder Tom Beahon told ChronicleLive the partnership, feels "really, really special".
Our Engagement Editor Matt Ketchell broke the news last month that the new shirt would see a return to the popular grandad neck design worn by players in the mid-90s.
