
Newcastle Fringe has gotten a jump on its 2022 program, announcing three shows to be presented at Lizottes dinner club.
Newcastle Fringe Festival will run March 17-27 in 2022.
On Saturday, March 19, Fringe presents Triple Treat Comedy featuring Darren Sanders, Tommy Dean and Peter Berner.
On Sunday, March 20, Fringe presents Henry Wagons, one of the legends of media and wild country music, accompanied by special guest Lachlan Bryan. The Sunday lunch version of Old Fashioned Nights, delivers up a unique recipe of songs and stories with a culinary theme.
On Thursday, March 24, the internationally successful, multi-award-winning singer/songwriter,Catherine Britt takes to her hometown stage to showcase her new album Home Truths and perform a whole swag of her biggest hits. Britt will be supported by self-proclaimed gypsy Scotsman, singer/songwriter Colin Lillie whose latest EP was mixed by Shane Nicholson on Beverley Hillbilly Records and features a duet with Britt
Newcastle Fringe promises lots more surprises with the number of artist applications received for the festival currently reaching almost to 60 different shows across several different genres that guarantees that the fringe festival has something for anyone, of any age or inclination.
The core, open access festival programming is currently underway and will be released later in the year.
