Newcastle fans think they've spotted something significant in United's latest tweet

Newcastle fans feel they have spotted conclusive proof of Castore's incoming kit deal from the club's latest Tweet.

United posted a picture of the pitches being relaid after the conclusion of the 2020/21 season and next to the Sports Direct logo on the Gallowgate roof are two signs that have been covered over.

But fans zooming in on the drapes felt they had spotted the outline of the distinctive Castore logos.

Some of the Puma billboards have also been covered up as the club prepares to watch supplier ahead of next season.

The Newcastle United tweet that fans feel is conclusive proof Castore are taking over (Newcastle United)

It's understood that Castore will be confirmed as Newcastle's new kit supplier in a multi-year deal next month - with the brand unveiling "big plans" for United.

They were announced as Wolves' new kit suppliers last week with the club confirming they would be partnering with five clubs in Europe's top leagues. Newcastle's long-term partnership with Puma was extended by a season last year amid uncertainty over the takeover.

But they have taken the plunge by joining forces with forward-thinking Castore, who want to "disrupt" the sportswear business.
