How does one of the world's best footballers prepare for a major cup final?
Well in the case of Barcelona and France star Antoine Griezmann, you win the Premier League on Football Manager with Newcastle United.
The French star has been no stranger to sharing his Football Manager stories online and he raised plenty of eyebrows on Saturday morning with his latest choice of team.
Griezmann shared his success with the Magpies on his Instagram story and, unsurprisingly, Newcastle fans were absolutely loving it.
One fan tweeted: "Griezmann is a Magpie," while another took it as encouragement for a future lucrative takeover, adding: "Griezmann playing as the toon on footy manager. It’s a sign. Get the cans in."
And it proved to be the perfect preparation for winning a title on the pitch, as Griezmann followed up his success with a Newcastle by securing a second trophy of the day.
The 30-year-old scored the first goal as Barcelona thrashed Athletic Bilbao 4-0 in the final of the Copa Del Rey at Sevilla's Estadio La Cartuja.
It was the Frenchman's first major title as a Barcelona player and the fourth of his club career, adding to his 2018 World Cup winners medal.
