Newcastle United fans have welcomed the news that Burnley striker Chris Wood looks set to become the club's second January signing.
The Magpies have met a release clause believed to be set at £20m to lure the New Zealand international from their relegation rivals.
Wood is set to hold talks over a transfer on Tyneside after a deal was agreed in principle for the 30-year-old.
