Newcastle fans deliver Wolves verdict as winless run continues

Newcastle fans have been left wondering where their first win of the season will come from after today's defeat against Wolverhampton Wanderers.

The Magpies have not won in all competitions this season and the pressure is mounting on Steve Bruce to find three points from somewhere.

Today's defeat at the hands of Wolves has left Newcastle with the joint worst defence in the league alongside fellow strugglers Norwich City.

Newcastle now have a two week break to mull over their dismal start to the season as a result of the next international break.

Magpies fans have taken to social media to make their feelings known.

Michael Moffatt said: "Massive chance, wolves are a poor team. Unfortunately, we are worse."

Craig Mayne said: "Going to be cast adrift soon. Reminds me of the 15-16 season, we waited months for our first win on that season too if I remember correctly."

Rob Hennedy said: "No win and another awful performance."

Malcom Irwin said: "There's a team there but we need somebody in to get the best out of them."
