Newcastle Falcons v Bristol Bears TV details, team news and odds

Bristol Bears head north to Kingston Park on Saturday to take on Newcastle Falcons in Round Five of the 2021/22 Gallagher Premiership.

The Bears' only victory in their last five Gallagher Premiership games was 25-20 at home to Bath Rugby on 1 October. The Bears have lost their last two away games in Premiership Rugby but have not lost three in succession on their travels since 2018/19.

Bristol have won their last four encounters with Newcastle since the Falcons' 39-27 victory at Ashton Gate in May 2017.

The Bears have been victorious on their last two visits to Kingston Park and have never won three in a row at the venue

Newcastle Falcons' record in Gallagher Premiership Rugby this season is an even won two, lost two. The Falcons have lost just one of their last five home games at Kingston Park: 20-26 to Harlequins in Round One.

Here are all the ways you can follow the action...

What time is kick-off?

Newcastle Falcons v Bristol Bears kicks-off at 3pm on Saturday, October 16.

Is the game on TV?

No, sadly it is. not

Unfortunately, BT Sport will not be showing every game during the 2021/22 Gallagher Premiership season with fans now back in stadiums and this weekend's game has not been selected to be broadcast.

In a terrible backwards step, Channel 5's highlights show on a Monday has also been cancelled although you can watch highlights on YouTube which will also be shared in our matchday live blog as soon as available.

How else can I follow the game?

If you can’t be in the stadium you can follow live play-by-play updates, reaction, analysis and interviews on our live blog on Bristol Live with rugby reporter John Evely bringing you the latest from Kingston Park.

BBC Radio Bristol will also be providing live commentary from the game.
