Leeds United forward Rodrigo is not set to face any further action over claims that he spat at Newcastle United defender Fabian Schar.
The two players were involved in a confrontation during the closing stages of Leeds' 2-1 victory over Newcastle at St James' Park on Tuesday night.
Rodrigo and Schar were both subsequently booked by referee Anthony Taylor.
Video footage of the incident was later posted on social media alongside accusations that Rodrigo had spat in Schar's direction.
Both managers were asked about the matter at their post-match press conferences.
Leeds head coach Marcelo Bielsa replied: "No, I don’t know anything about this."
Meanwhile, Newcastle boss Steve Bruce said: "I didn't see that, I can't comment on it. I haven't seen that at all."
And our colleagues at ChronicleLive are reporting that Schar did not feel that Rodrigo spat at him and will not be taking the situation any further.
They also report that Newcastle have made so accusation of spitting and are happy to draw a line under the issue, with the referee having dealt with the situation at the time.
Leeds ended a run of three defeats in all competitions as they edged past struggling Newcastle.
Raphinha's opener was cancelled out by Miguel Almiron but Jack Harrison netted the winner for the visitors.
Leeds remain 12th in the table, with 26 points from 19 fixtures - the halfway point of their league campaign.
Newcastle have now gone 11 matches without a victory in all competitions and sit 16th - seven points clear of the relegation zone, though third-from-bottom Fulham have two games in hand.
