A KAHIBAH man is due to face court in Newcastle on Saturday after he allegedly entered a Central Coast bank and demanded money.
State Crime Command detectives from the Robbery and Serious Crimes Squad have been investigating the robbery since late October last year.
Police allege that a man entered a bank within a shopping plaza on The Entrance Road at Erina about 3.30pm on October 28 and demanded money from the teller.
An alarm was activated and the man fled empty-handed in a silver Audi B6.
Brisbane Water police mad initial inquiries before the State Crime Command formed Strike Force Campbellfield to investigate.
On Friday morning investigators searched a Kahibah property and allegedly found prescription medication, a tablet press and a silver Audi B6.
Officers arrested a 26-year-old man at the house and took him to Belmont police station.
The man was charged with demand property with menaces with intent to steal, possess/attempt to prescribed restricted substance and possess tablet press or drug encapsulator.
Anyone with information that may assist Strike Force Campbellfield is urged to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
