Newcastle company R Place create Mean Girls donuts and brownies to be delivered on October 3rd

If the date October 3rd doesn't mean anything to you, toucan probably stop reading now, but if it does ring a bell, you're probably looking for something pink to wear right this second!

And that's because October 3rd isn't just any date on the calendar as any fans of Mean Girls will know, it's the day Cady Heron asked Aaron Samuels what date it was.

From then on in, it's a date that has etched itself into film folkore and you'll be able to mark it in tasty style this year in Newcastle as local donut aficionados R Place have created a range of treats all themed around Mean Girls.

All of the the donuts are bright pink and have some amazing names.

The Mean Girls box contains:

The Burn Book (Raspberry)
On Wednesdays We Eat Pink (Salted Caramel)
A Donut Made Out of Rainbows and Smiles (Vanilla)
Kalteen Bar/Toaster Strudel
Glenn Coco Pop

And the icing on the cake is the Fugly S**t Brownie - a homemade cookie base, toasted fluff and homemade brownie.

Sound like something you want to get stuck into? The Mean Girls box, to be delivered on October 3rd of course, costs £20 and can be delivered to Newcastle, North Tyneside, Gateshead, Sunderland and surrounding areas.

To place an order message R Place's Facebook page and follow them on Instagram at @itsrplace.
