An outdoor Christmas market that will open near Greys Monument will be open for 10 hours a day on weekdays and Saturdays.
Newcastle City Council confirmed the 2022 Newcastle Christmas Market's trading hours this year, as well as dates for four Sundays which the indoor Grainger Market will be open for.
Newcastle Christmas Market has been expanded for 2022. It will include stalls on Grey Street, Grainger Street and Old Eldon Square.

As well as stalls selling goods and gifts, the market will include a bar, the council confirmed. Further details from its operator are expected shortly. The market is set to open on Saturday November 19 and will trade until Friday December 23.
The Grainger Market, which usually trades Monday to Saturday, will open for four Sundays in the run-up to Christmas.

Monday to Saturday from November 19 to December 23: 10am to 8pm
Sundays: 10am to 5pm
Grainger Market opening hours and November/December Sunday opening dates
Monday to Saturday: 9am to 5.30pm
Sunday opening dates: November 27, December 4, December 11, December 18 - all 11am to 4pm
The Sunday trading dates mean the Grainger Market will be open every day from Monday November 21 through until Saturday December 24 (Christmas Eve).
