Cooler and windy day on the beach with fresh Southerly winds after yesterdays change. Surf conditions to be choppy and still tending to close out at most of the beach breaks but the south facing reefs handling direction better. Swell from the S/E to South at 1.5m. Wind out of the south tending S/E. Tides going low mid morning and afternoon high not a big one. Merewether to have a reforming right off the rocks and Pogos peaky left and rights. Nobbys Reef for some lefts. Dudley and Caves to the south. One Mile up at Port Stephens. Shorebreaks sanded up with long gutters. Swim between the flags and water temps 21C. - Dave Anderson
